My Dad Joe deSouza (RIP) was a jazz drummer and always encouraged me to play music. I loved the Blues of the South and followed the English music invasion of the early 60’s.For the past 20 years I have wanted to get back to my Hindi roots and started a journey to learn the language and some of the culture. I was drawn to the Chakra teachings and could not find music to match the Philosophy. My first attempt bridge this gap resulted in a seven audio release a few years back called “Creating a Chakra Connection”.I have been studying meditation techniques with people like Shakti Gawain, Deepak Chopra and Oprah, Deva Permal and Mitten, Osho and Jose Silva, and found while the teachings made sense, some of the accompanying music was leading people in a western direction, getting away from the Eastern music which I feel is a lot more healing. So here I am, a man within an East Indian body, with a white mind of the west, with a deep appreciation for southern blues, living in Northern British Columbia, Canada. With the teachings of Mike Koenigs, Publish and Profit and the inspiration of Vishen Lakhiani of Mind valley, I am pushing to release my second book, Global World Dance to share my vision with the world. My goal is to explain what I have learned in the past years in the hopes that you will find value and radiant health by following some simple and easy to do steps outlined in this book.
